Truth will always expose corruption. On November seventeenth Dwight walked into court with no idea that his charge had already been upgraded behind his back. The minutes were changed before the hearing. The amended bill of information was filed after court ended. And not one person in that courtroom protected his right to be informed of the accusation as required by law.
When Kimberly Celestine went to the clerk’s office to ask for the bill of information, Hope Picard refused to help her. She used her position and her privilege to deny access to a public record and even hid the document behind another filing. That is not professionalism. That is gatekeeping and intimidation.
This is the type of misconduct that destroys trust in Louisiana’s justice system. A defendant has the constitutional right to know the nature and cause of the accusation. Dwight was denied that right.
This video is for everyone who has been silenced, dismissed, or pushed aside by a system that forgets its duty to fairness. We are not staying quiet.
Purposed For The People will always speak the truth.
